Received this email from Linzi this morning, be interesting to hear other people's thoughts...
Hi Louise,
Luvin the sunshine, woohoo.
Glad your back safe and sound.
I'm sure you've more than plenty to do, but I just wanted to share some articles I found on the web the other day about copyrite that I thought made a really interesting read. Some are quite old, perhaps I'm just slow to get the news here in Shrewsbury. links are:
maybe could open up a debate on the rafale forum?

Great to see Louie Award nominations at the National Stationery Show in New York again!
Both entries by Jean White this year. Well done Jean! Should find out how they got on by Wednesday...
In the meantime, out and about in Manhattan checking out the stores! Shall post up anything interesting. |

Here are some pictures from the lovely new Anthropologie store on Kings Rd. This moss skirt looked great in the window, but the reflections made it too difficult to capture from outside.

Gorgeous tea towels and pinny, with quite a lush, tropical, "parrot filled" feel, also on the embroidered cushions on the bed below.

You can just see the waterfall on the left of the picture below, every shop should have one.

Some great ceramics, like the sea urchin tea pot above, and the bird vases below.

This floral and bird design was a wallpaper in the gallery area of the shop, and the fish print above is a detail from a ruched top that looked like a cute old fashioned swimming costume, with little skirt! |

Hope everyone had a good Bank holiday weekend. I popped into the new Anthropologie at 189 King’s Road in the old Antiquarius building, a former gentlemans club, and more recently an antiques centre. They do have a knack of creating gorgeous, tranquil, airy spaces to shop! It opened at the end of March and it is a lovely building with green tiles on the outside, high roof, with skylights, and as ever great sets, with a moss skirt in the window and a larger than life driftwood horse and waterfall inside, a tropical jungle parrot theme, and lots of 50's inspired prints, i did take some pictures, but also saw this book of collages, "Paperwork" by Peter Clark, which is quirky & inspiring !

Im pretty sure Louise had a photo of one of his collages from Anthropologie in the States, but the detail on these is just great.
These are some grabs from his website, i can feel an Amazon order coming on......
