Ambitions: To make an animated film (keep trying but never get much further than doing a story board and making a few models, a bit of the set and doing a test piece!) Must actually finish a whole film!
To do a motorcycle tour of America. Oh, and to see the blue whale and the Northern lights!

I studied Graphic Design at Loughborough College of Art and Design where I gained a Higher National Diploma in Graphic Design. The course also included photography and illustration.
When I finished college I worked as a graphic artist in various companies in the eighties and later joined a studio designing greetings cards.
I eventually went freelance in 1990 and have been ever since. Over the last twenty years I have produced designs for greetings cards, calendars, children's book illustration and giftware which includes 3D design. I have designed over three hundred quirky ornaments and products for an American company over the last ten years.
I have always been into drawing and painting and love to draw characters. It is my character work which is may strength. I do use the computer but would much prefer to be drawing and painting by hand given the choice. My favourite medium is water-colour but I also use acrylics and sometimes pastels.
I work from my home in Leicestershire where I live with my husband and two teenage girls and not forgetting the cat (Lily).
